Materials designed for their index and dispersion properties. Typical use are in lens systems. We stock a full range of optical glasses from low to high index. Our stock is melt lot controlled to the original manufacturers melt lot number. Much of our stock has Nd/Vd specs that are tighter then the manufacturers standard tolerances.

Stress Birefringence, Striae, Homogeneity, Bubbles/Inclusions
Annealing and Reslumping - With our ovens, we can re-anneal most materials to fine and precision annealed tolerances. We can also reslump most materials into sizes beyond the raw material size (ie. taking 40mm thick strip and making material 50mm thick).
