| Glass Fab takes great pride in supplying machined ground Plano surface blanks. Your requirements are met by skilled personnel, trained specifically on this equipment to achieve and duplicate the highest quality precision optical blanks possible. We can grind blanks up to 52" diameter. Standard tolerances are .005" - .010". Standard flatness and parallelism .001" - .003". For your more stringent tolerances and surface finishes, we can provide lapped blanks. We can also supply you with curve generated blanks up to 22" in diameter. Standard tolerances are +3% -0 on convex curves, +0 -3% on concave curves, and .010" - .020" on center thickness. |
